i have 4 mythics (pictured above) that i’m happy with but i’d love to hear what other people think about alternate artifacts AND or attributes

i plan on hunting for both recovery and void boost as i hunt for exotics

Just felt the take -35% damage in close range was better for me then the improved healing and overshield

Binging planetisimal is currently bugged rn so i’m running unrelenting evolution because you do get DR when you Soul Assault

scroll down to the artefacts that dont even work on gwyn, choose 2 random exotic ones and get them to high enough power for level 5 perks with double mythic damage ones

Try ring of courage if your T6 basically 100% uptime on the 20% damage bonus. I’m using it untill I get a G Roll bellicose

if you’re T6 i believe you could swap out your third slot for belicose veil

T2 Offers a second TP charge and belicose veil gives 77% damage buff to your next ability after casting a movement ability

super attribute isnt the most important stat, people ARE ult canceling for Higher burst DPS in the current raid because of Gwynn’s T1 ability. However in a longer damage phase (for example day one raids where you’re under power) you may not want to cancel super as all of her damage is split evenly between her abilities, super and weapon damage

I have a decent roll on bellicose but man, the refactoring is killing me, I’m also leveling up Ning…. For me to even try out bellicose I’d instantly drop 400 power level.

yea i feel you, at the moment i’m not touching my artifacts until i have a ton of refactoring mats, plus the fact that i have 3 great stats on my 3/4 slot i dont see much of a need to farm out anything new atm

Is anyone here in calamity overseer btw? For her shotty roll I’m really struggling to kill the impact boss shinka on my own. I 85d auto loading and karmic roll because I love auto loading in expanse. But I just got the exotic mod for firing line and have the FR KR g roll too but not 85. Just wondering what everyone else’s experience is so far.

Maybe in NA? I’m in EU everyone top 123 in overseer is using retribution with either auto loading or firing line, Ning and Estela get a ton of heavy reserve ammo shotty gets dust so it’s pretty difficult to calculate enough ammo for boss.

most likely, line formation excels most at mag dumping during boss phases so conjugation would be a good option for flat out more damage for shinka’s

Just from testing IMO conjunction is nice in lower difficulty with concertos auto reload, but tanker ads make firing line the better option since it reloads an extra round, stack that with karmic and you have a machine gun shotty.

the super stat seems like cope so i switched to void boost but i dont have a maxed out stat yet so idk how it’ll feel and im missing the artifact i want in slot 1 so i wont be running expanse again until i have an artifact setup im happy with

Binging is trash. It heals off the base damage which is nothing lol.

You are better off being a little more micro manage on picking up orbs than relying on Binging Heals

You have no idea how glad am I to finally finish the exotic mods. The first 2 Exotic mods were drops. I had to spend 2 Exotic Choice mod for Karmic though 😦

Not that I know of. You have to compare Conjuction vs Line Formation with its exotic perk

I would imagine the rapid fire bonus + 2 extra shells in the mag would let you do more DPS than a 20% damage bonus of the base

The extra 2 shells are buffed by Karmic Reward as well. Mythic perks are damage boost to the base damage of the gun. It’s not multiplicative like we intuitively think

thats under certain conditions actually; the longer the damage window the more it falls off

if you’re bursting shinkas: It’s amazing yes. If you’re doing boss damage or any prolonged amount of damage it sadly begins to fall off

i’d go courageous planetisimal for boss DPS as the 18% damage buff affects her shorgun along with her ability on top of having higher uptime, another good option would be ring of courage for a 20% damage buff for all the same upsides as the one previously stated

in boss damage scenarios her shotgun is an important part of her DPS so you’d want to upgrade that for a higher impact as the 18/20% general buff would get more mileage than a 77% buff that is used once (twice if you have T2)

i suppose maybe valient veil in slot 4 could make up for the weapon damage buff though

ok well if you’re directly comparing to calamity ops #1 then the problem lies in the fact T5 makes each void orb deal 50% more damage so thats probably where a majority of her “speed” is coming from

each orb individually doing 120k… each pellet doing 14k

so here’s a fun little discovery, the reason zayam is hitting 14k per pellet on shinka’s is because stunned impact shinka’s take triple damage from at least shotguns

my strongest guess is something similar to his artifacts buffing his ability damage multiplicatively

if your 73k power then your cadenza must have C3… The only logical answer would be your artifacts would be the best guess considering that’s the only thing that’s different between you two

i got the artifacts suggestions from zombie but the difference in video and my killing is so god damn huge

Inverted works on every character , you just need to have a normal shield not overshield

The former number 1 in Wales hasn't logged on yet I don't think or used gwynn. So it's fleeting at 1. But I think it was like 10 power in it.

So has anyone tested whether the new solar shotgun (Thermopylae) is better than eternal retribution for Gwynn?

I did some basic tests using a karmic+fraternity thermo vs karmic+line, removed my mods with void damage, removed companion buffs, no Cadenza stacks and the total damage for empty mag were pretty close (even with my ER being lv85 vs lv80 Thermo). But then ER wins if you factor the void damage from artifacts, void bonus from Ikora and line formation being just superior when you need to dump your mag in a short time window.

I think it's nice to have no, even if it's just for elemental rotations, but I'll keep using my ER most of time.

I can only see dual loader being better if for some reason you have no ads and can't build 4 cadenza to swap dump >swap-reload>dump again with line formation and need to minimize reload time on a damage phase. I've seen some Gwynn run that combo on expanse, but tbh I'm still not convinced it was worth it over line formation anyway.
