Finally figured out a solution
My specs:
Apple M4 Max with 16-core CPU
40-core GPU 16-core Neural Engine
128GB unified memory
2TB SSD storage

Open PlayCover, save the IPA for Destiny: Rising in your Downloads folder, then drag and drop it into PlayCover. Get the IPA from Decrypt.Day (don’t pay for it, reload until free download shows up. You have to do this for every new D:R update. This is 90% of issues I see).
BEFORE loading D:R, open emulator settings and turn OFF Keymapping.
Set “iOS Device” as newest iPad.
Resolution 1440p (don’t try 4K)
Aspect Ratio 16:10
Resolution Scalar to 1.0
Go to Misc tab in Settings, set Application Type to public.app-category.games
Force inject iOS framework
Many get error messages, when that happens just drag it to the corner of your screen and you’ll be fine.

Launch D:R. Once in, set graphics (mine are Custom/High/Max).

You can import an MnK profile. It’s in the settings, that’s all I know about that.

Xbox Elite S2 & PS5 controllers work. Before opening PlayCover, go to Mac bluetooth settings, search for devices, remember to enable your controller’s new connection mode. May need your mousepad to select sign-in method.

If game is unstable, PlayCover wasn’t set as the most advanced iPad. If controller doesn’t work right away, use mousepad for a tiny bit, then use joysticks; D:R detects the controller very quickly. Test settings in-game so controller is set to your preferences. Same for audio & graphic settings, some are in the “Accessibility” tab.

I hope this helps, see you out there, Guardians.
