#Tutorial: How to Improve Performance/Lag on Low-End PCs!

⚙️ Emulator Settings
📸 Performance
- DirectX → instead of Vulkan
Vulkan is better on good PCs, but on weaker/older machines it can cause errors, FPS drops, or even crashes.
- CPU & RAM → set to half of what your PC has.
Example: PC with 8 cores / 16 GB RAM → set to 4 cores / 8 GB RAM. More than that just slows things down.
- GPU usage → Auto tuning
Out of the 3 options, this one worked the best.
📸 Display
- Resolution → pick the lowest possible (960x540).
Then, if you want, resize the window manually. It’ll look stretched, but no lag. - FPS → 30 (yeah, it sucks, but remember the PS4? It ran like that and we survived 😂).
If it’s unbearable, push it to 60, but it’ll hit performance harder.
🎮 In-Game Settings (Destiny Rising)
📸 Inside the game
- Graphics Mode → Custom
- Rendering Quality → Standard (minimum)
- Frame Rate → doesn’t matter, the emulator will cap it anyway.
- Texture Precision → Standard (since it’s not running at 720p anyway).
