If you already have a USB C or Thunderbolt dock for your laptop, using it with your phone can be a convenient way to play without worrying about emulation. Many modern phones support connecting a display, keyboard, mouse, headset, etc. through a USB dock/hub.
I currently use my iPhone connected to a thunderbolt dock, which has a monitor, Xbox controller, and mouse and keyboard attached. The keyboard and mouse don’t work (unsure if game or iOS issue) but the monitor and Xbox controller do. The dock also keeps my phone charged.
Please note results may vary with different hardware. Some phones do not support external monitors (search if yours supports “DP Alt Mode”) and some docks may not work correctly with phones.
