Whenever I use mumu the game stutters a lot, no clue if I'm the only one with this issue but it kinda ruins the full experience. is there any way to fix this?

my pc is able to handle a lot of heavier games so I don't see the issue with that.
Could it be the emulator itself?

same for me

did you configure the settings for the emulator? (like RAM and CPU cores for example)

gotta be a pc or graphic or bios issue or setting, having no issues here with the settings listed above on MUMU player

I really hope there will be a native pc version at some point
Cause the emulator performance isnt the best for me at least

try playing the game in 1080p, i had issues with stutters going over 1080p even though my pc can handle it

i fixed the stuttering issue, with nvidia settings specifically on mumu. on nvidia settings i put it on low latency ultra mode, and my max frame rate to slightly lower than refresh rate, and on mumu i put the fps limit to exactly or a tiny bit above my refresh rate. that fixed my stuttering

I get stuttering issues, but only in some areas of the Red Sea Rift. Everywhere else is fine

If your game only stutters when you are moving your camera then its a mouse DPI issue. Turn down DPI and increase in game sensitivity. I have needed to turn down my DPI from 1600 all the way down to 500 for it to go away.

I had similar issues. Apparently things like afterburner causes issues. I uninstalled afterburner. Didn’t help. Then I used DDU and nuked nvidia drivers and reinstalled them. Now the game runs with everything maxed out at 1440p on mumu

Tried disabling fps cap in nvidia (helped a lot), disabling free sync (didn’t notice a difference), optimised windows, turned off core isolation and hyper v, confirmed hv is not on, no v-sync, ddu clean reinstall of drivers, removed all overlays and nvidia GeForce

#

Pretty sure it’s a win 11 issue at this point

#

Or maybe I’m thermal throttling? It’s been a while since I did a deep clean

75 solid fps except when turning, sometimes it gets choppy like asset pop-in, bad lods etc, and every now and then my mouse will stop while I’m turning for a split second and it makes Bar unplayable sometimes

#

My monitor is holding me back a little…man I wish I knew more about computers lol

#

Fullscreen performs even worse for some reason too

#

(For comparison destiny 2 runs great at max so it’s def some sort of emulator incompatibility or something)

Blue stacks is even laggier too

I don't know if you fixed the issue. Though last night i was able to resolve my issues by doing these steps.

  1. Make sure you manually download the latest client. (Go to the website and download from there.)

  2. Ensure you optimize your emulator to whatever you can give it. The more the better. (for me i have it at 6 cores and 16gb of ram.)

  3. Limit FPS to 120fps. (Rising doesn't go above that anyways). (It says in the emulator settings that a higher limit can cause stutters and frame drops.)

  4. Turn off g sysnc or freesync (depending on your monitor)

Doing this i was able to get a stable 110-120 fps at the highest settings.

# balmy prawn Your specs should get you at least solid 60 fps with everything maxed out at 144...

I thought so, and I’m only running 1080 🤔 something is causing random stutter and it’s starting to feel like an emulator/win 11 conflict or thermal

I’m even using 6 cores (4 and 8 don’t make much difference), 16 ram, mumu build from official site, and I still have to do 200 dpi, everything on low and hd textures off to reduce the spikes to playable levels. I don’t even see anything spiking in task manager at any point, it’s weird.

#

But if it was thermal surely Destiny 2 would be hitching too?

#

No. It’s some program or driver conflict

#

You can always try a fresh install of windows on a seperate drive and try it out to see if that helps

It's better now but still game is in pretty rough shape, especially open world with tons of peeps obviously.

if you're still encountering stuttering, this is what fixed it for me.
I downloaded mumuplayer from Destiny risings website but that is an old version.
Go to mumuplayers actual website and download it from there, that is an updated version of the emulator and now the game runs flawlessly

Lower the amount of CPU cores mumuplayer is using
