but you have to use it on a joker that youll always keep for this to be true

unless you're going like, astronomically high antes then this is just a "free" joker slot if used correctly
maybe +1 ante since thats usually the downside for things like this
i was thinking of maybe -1 discard but i think this works, although a little repetitive sometimes

reverse spectrals will be really rare
it's worth experimenting around if -1 discard is better or if you should stick with the good old +1 ante

so if you select a joker 3 random cards in hand become joker playing cards

Well now that I've gotten it working, idk if this is a bug or feature but when I choose a pack from a multipack, it goes into my consumable inventory and when I use the pack, it drains my money into the negatives
I'm not sure if the mod does that or if cryptid does that I'm just wondering
pack draining money is unintentional but packs going to consumables is semi-intended
packs in packs are meant to go to consumables to prevent weird bugs with #define but it applying to multipacks is just a side effect of not thinking of crossmod enough

I wanted to do a card that could unbanish a joker at a hefty price, but I dont think I can find a fitting card to make it opposite as

it can always be the inversion of a new spectral card when i add new consumables

like it looks like a torn page from some magic book and it could be classified as like a Spell
basically all consumables i add from this point on will need associated inversions too

Astral = downgrade to Mosaic, +1 Joker slot

Editions from other mods that get siphoned give either the effects of a siphoned Foil, Holographic, Polychrome or Negative effects
Feel free to tweak a bunch of these because I feel like I might have gotten overboard with a few of them
i feel like it should probably be 1 unified effect that gets stronger based on the edition rather than a bunch of unique effects cause this will be a lot of wiki reading or a long ass description
which i want to avoid because some other mods do that and its annoying

playing a hand with non crimson seal cards doesnt trigger the crimson seal
seals are janky in general in recent times
i mean crimson seal is extra janky because its messing with trigger order
but i think this is because of a change i made to make sure crimson seals only trigger if its in the scoring hand
if i get lazy ill just make crimson seal make it always trigger which is way more op but whatever i hope that doesnt come to that

alright so I tested the pack consumables and they do in fact not drain money now however as a side effect they seem to have a problem of having a few cards hang around the consumables area before warping down to where they're supposed to be
maybe it has something to do with the speed I'm running at (using Nopeus) but otherwise maybe thats another thing

It doesn't work with the latest version. You have to downgrade to Cryptid bignum support which is listed on the github page
You should also update Talisman to the experimental branch

Book of Solomon, its such a fun item, one of the few things i can be somewhat proud of
i havent messed with anything isaac related in a while outside of references
splits item id randomly in 2 parts
(400 -> anything fron 200 200 to 1 399) and spawns a choice pedestal of the 2 items
and if it hits a choice pedestal i had to forward the choice peedestal id
it also fid a bunch of funky stuff like turning hearts into 2 half hearts, blended heart into half heart and half soul heart, rotten heart into a heart and a maggot (the tiny ones from Corpse), also worked on cards (runes are cards) and trinkets i think?
and as a drawback it randomly halves ur tears, dmg, range or speed. but the halving gradually fades away over the course of like 8 room clears
tho the book has 6 charges and the effect stacks
this might acutually be a jankier mechanic than crimson seals

well just steal the exact same functionality as isaac where you can only have 1 at a time outside of shenanigans
joker that allows you to have 2 trinkets

it kinda works like a trinket?
it gives you +0.5 after observatory context while you hold the tag
but it's also a double tag so picking up another tag switches it up
you could make Trinkets as like Tags that replace each other whenever you pick up another trinket-type tag
i think the way isaac does trinkets is sort of a bad example to get it working as an ideal system but its definitely something you could get working with enough effort
a lot of isaac trinkets are consequential enough where you just find 1 and stick with it the whole time which basically just makes them items with extra steps
i dont think trinkets would work here anyways
i'd keep them outside of Entropy's scope for now
its 100% outside of this mod yeah

but if you flipside a flipside, it's like you're flipping the mirror itself

but i dont think you should just get a flipped mirror, it should just flip everything and use both Flipsides

gives cards boosts based on their current enhancement then makes them disavowed
interesting
you basically get more of a boost if you already have a set strategy for the run ie if youre already relying on a lot of steel cards then youll benefit from using disavow on them since it will be stronger than regular steels
gold cards also for example are a tradeoff where they give more money in the short term but will fall off over time since they only payout once
editions that dont have a specific boost become glitched too
wild cards do that also
the original idea was seals but it was kinda hard to utilize
using disavow on disavowed cards will make them glitched also
you can test it rn on the reverse spectrals branch but the cardart is still sigil but pink cause i got lazy
i'll play with it soon and i'll give my thoughts about it when i'm free
im really bad at spectral card art if it isnt obvious from flipside so im just gonna put it off as long as i can

outside of doe you need fervour which you get from inverting the soul
m entropic is accidentally anti-scalae synnergy but thats fine because now theres multiple pathways to the most op run in entropy instead of just epitachyno scalae and exponentia
it has the potential to be the most op out of all the entropics so im trying to make sure the balancing is just right
i dont mind how op it is but i want all the entropics to be roughly equally desirable for different reasons

this is something we were gonna do for TEFD's chip-joker equivalent
it starts you off at 1 asc power if you have none btw so getting solar isnt useless if you dont have more csl or four fingers
well sort of
the first solar card proc grants +1 asc power if you have 0
and then its 1.4x every one after that
solar starts off slightly worse than astral but not by much since it applies to both chips and mult but then outpaces it quickly around 10 triggers

enhancements have an amount of points each it sums up the points and if its above a threshold it picks a rarity and then picks a random joker of that rarity based on the seed and that list of enhancements will always pick that joker
and order doesnt matter
and theres some fixed recipes

when abstract gets merged itll probably be the only way to get higher than legendary rarities cause i dont really think any amount of glass or light cards is equal to getting an exotic or entropic joker

when a card is created from a specific pool create a card from any pool weighted by how many cards are in it
for example when you open a planet pack each card could randomly be any card type but will probably be a joker

so you have about a 9% chance for any card to be a specific pool
9% chance for any card to be meme or m is probably too strong but i also dont wanna exclude them
which is why im hesitant to equally weight all the pools instead of just merging them
if they were merged you would have a lower chance to pull m jokers since the pool is lower so its rarer to pick one out of all possible cards
