Having an attack with the butt of the weapon and perhaps butt spikes and other attachments for the back end of the weapon would be cool. Additionally having the shaft of polearms do more substantial damage the heavier the shaft. I'm not talking comparable damage to the head but quarter staff were great weapons and if a club or mace is going to do good damage the spear shaft should as well. I'd also like to see the ability to choke up on a weapon shaft for great axes and polearms. Give us some more tools to manage the strike zone for those weapons.
#Polearm suggestion.

the polearm shaft honestly needs to be looked at a few ways like a hybrid move set of the spear shaft and the straight shaft and not a copy of the straight shaft, swinging it around like an axe looks silly and putting your halberd head on a spear shaft makes managing that strike zone even harder . I like the butt of the weapon attack and adding an additional socket to the polearm shaft idea it could be executed when your blocking with your shift or alt attack or instead of the push you do the butt attack and your push is then key binded to block F or whatever, It would at least give the shaft some identity. Also heavier shafts instead of doing better damage on weak strike zone could push further or build up stagger on monsters better or a chance to trip/topple monsters and let that be a stat known in game because how it is now the fastest inertia shafts/handles are best.
