Bird Hunt challenge doesn't give dodo head

I don't think it gives you the dodo head, it gives you the ability to craft the dodo head mount in your decorations. You randomly get dodo heads from killing dodos. I had several heads before finishing the challenge

Oh well in that case I must have been lucky at the time of completing the challenge, I assumed you got the head as a reward alongside the recipe as when I killed the last boar for the buccaneer in training challenge I received a boar head by chance perhaps! Never received anymore after that or before so that's why I just assumed.
