When I go to load my game's world, its an infinite loading screen. The map with the tool tips. Goes forever. I'm stuck dealing with this and I really REALLY don't want to have to go in and delete my save files to get the game to quit trying to load a corrupted file as reddit suggests.
But from my pov, get to main menu, go to load my world, infinite loading screen. Worked fine till now. 160 hours played.
Update: deleted the files to try and get cloud to resolve, nothing worked - problem still persists

Reduce your DLSS or upscaler. Game is having a problem loading in big chunks of graphical data right now and might be related to how drivers handle UE5 stuff. Frame Gen also may be an issue rn.

An update: When making a new character, I'm able to join the world. It is on my main character that I get the infinite loading bug. Not sure what's going on. But I'd be a lot happier to say goodbye to the character than I was saying goodbye to the world

Well the scary part is I didn't do anything funky. So your character is at risk of corruption data just by simply logging off for the night. Proceed with caution.

If you have Smooth Motion on your GPU, you can use that in NVIDIA settings. I just tried it and loaded in fine, fast travel to Tortuga fine.
Haven't tried it with DLAA yet but it seems slightly choppy doing that for little gain.

Update:
My main character can join my friends' servers, but infinite loading when joining my world as of 5/8/26.
Upon testing a newly created character, that character can join my world and it loads fine.
So currently, my main cannot join my world, but he can join other worlds. And other characters can join my world, but my main can't.
My main is stuck in some sort of purgatory where only the communication between him and the world I've created is impacted, causing the infinite loading glitch but only in that circumstance. Weird.
Praying for a fix
