Game froze on already-collected quest target.

I clicked on a sparkly target I'd already interacted with. Got a message along the lines of "There's nothing more to do here and no reason to stay." with a Click-to-Exit command underneath. Couldn't get past the message. Right-click, Left-click, Esc -- nothing closed the prompt.
