Divi-divi tree questions for g-portal servers

I have had a server from the start and have enjoyed the game a lot. I have read and search online for info about the divi-divi trees/hardwood and everything says they should respawn, but none of mine are coming back. Have I found something or is this an error on my side or have I done something to break them spawning. I cut them down but none have come back. Thank you for any info. I did search if this was asked and didnt see a post before mine. If you need any info I am glad to grab anything you may need.

had my server since the release and mine are coming back. but it takes a few hours, think its around 6 hours

I have been gone for days and the few spots I have been to have not grown back at all. Not sure why. Do fires do anything if near?

yes. if you have placed the big fire, nothing will respawn inside its circle
