Found a fix for me. Maybe it'll help you guys.
I host my server on Gportal and I had windrose plus enabled. I disabled it but the issue still happened.
I found that there were some leftover windrose plus files in the server's game directory>R5>Content>Paks that needed deleted and then everything worked right again.
I imagine if you're on a solo world the fix would be similar. It's mod related.

@acoustic gorge Okay, that sounds reasonable. I also have a G-Portal server. Maybe that will solve my problem too. Could you tell me which files you deleted from the Paks folder?

but if you desactivate w+ , and delete all ak , your server is not the same, with same rate ect

Yeah, that's exactly what I was thinking. I'm going to try changing the multipliers again and see if that fixes the problem...

i deleted every file that had "windrose plus" in the name lol.. It was a shot in the dark. If it doesn't have the name of the mod in the file I would leave it to be safe

I tried disabling it at first, but that was not enough. I had to delete the files it left behind in the Paks folder

Okay. I tried that too, but the slots are still not available. Yeah, that's really annoying... there's really no point in going out to get anything done since you're fully booked in two minutes...

I also host on Gportal. I stopped server. I turned off Modding (Enable UE4SS and Enable WindrosePlus) . Removed all Windrose Plus files via FTP. Restarted the server. Went into game and still only 16 slots. UnEquiped Backpack then ReEquiped and now back to 32 slots!

I have the same problem
I went to local world, where I tried to remove from equip slot and equipping again worked. Went back to the hosted server and everything is now ok. Few seconds later, it has bugged again 🙁

Also, worth noting, before I discovered the files in my server folder on gportal, I used Revo Unistaller to completely remove everything related to windrose. That didn't fix it for me but after that is when I found the files in the server location

Those settings are at the bottom of the basic settings list. If you enable them it automatically puts the windrose plus files in the server's Pak folder.

Yep. Once you remove those files you need to reequip the bag or else it stays the same

I find it a shame that the developers are not fixing this bag and inventory bug, knowing that in a farming game, it is a very important element and can quickly exhaust players....

Yeah, it's starting to get on my nerves too. I've been in touch with G-Portal support, but I haven't had any luck so far either.
