I had beat Richard’s first boss last time I played. Loaded up my steam deck, it installed the new update and when I loaded my offline/solo save this is what’s happened?! What the hell
#After update my map is full of fog again, I was spawned on a small basic starter island

This happened to me as well it rolled me back about 6 hours of play time as well.
There is not a save in my folder from last night (this AM) when i logged off.

I’m playing on the steam deck, I was playing fine this afternoon then noticed it forced to install an update an hour ago when I logged in. I have all my inventory but I’m stranded on a started island. Whole map is undiscovered but I seem to be at the same point I was at when logging off? Last thing I done was defeat first boss.
In fact it’s not, I’m now hours behind also. It’s saying I haven’t completed “revenge is best served cold” omg 😭 😭

My save has definitely over rided I have 8 boats at my shore from old saves wtf is going on. It’s put me so far behind but I’ve kept some stuff and my house.
All since the new update the games ruined

Hey make sure the correct character is selected. The game defaulted my character to the first one i played and thats why my map and stuff looked reset
