Server online, restarted and hard stop and start multiple times, I still just get infinite loading screan after the newest patch.

same issue for me. it started with me fast travelling to tortuga, got a black screen so i alt f4'd and restarted. when i try to connect back to my friends server it sits on the loading screen permanently

update, if I restart my server about 75% of the time I can go back in, play for about 20 minutes, and then it breaks again.

had to fully stop server and start it again as it goes into a loop gportal servers

Same for me, have reinstalled and verified integrity of files. Just stuck on infinite loading screen..

Game was working fine when I logged in after fix. I crashed a little while ago and now I have the same issue. Loading screen times out.

Same here, can't log in to my dedicated server that I have been playing on the last few weeks. Can play solo though ...

Brother and I have been using savesync. Since the new update, neither of us can join each other. We've tried me starting the server, and him starting the server. It's a no go. The person joining gets a long loadscreen then an error saying the game is hung.

Just got past this issue...

after much mucking about in SaveProfiles got the characters and world restored and then loading locked up.

updated Nvidia drivers, rebooted.
Turned off steam sync
Launched windrose, loaded world as solo/offline and it was successful finally. Then hosted and it worked.

Suspect disabling steam cloud sync or nvidia driver update fixed it

on gportal i made it so its connect via IP only and restarted and hasn't crashed since, but had to turn oFF the RCON/UT4 stuff too

sooo thank you for this, i think its just steam cloud sync or at least thats all it took to fix for me. after reading through everyones suggestions of loading an old backup etc i figured id wait till the devs sort it. But yours wasnt extreme so i thought id try. -- my problem was after the update yesterday i was able to log onto the server, played ~10mins and was booted. After that just loading screen that timed out. Rebooted server, checked files etc easy stuff didnt work.
Nvidia was upto date, so that wasnt it.
Exit game, turn off cloud sync, logged back in and worked. - didnt even need to load a solo game or anything.

i did take a backup of the game files before turning it off to make sure i had something to restore if it really all went out the window. Hope others see this as there's some pretty extreme "fixes".

Every time I join a server I kick people out not sure why all I did was do the update went into my friends server logged out went for dinner and have not been able to log back in on 3 friends servers obviously it’s me

if it is gportal fault have u tried a ticket to gportal they can help a lot on those problems
