i apologise in advance if this has been covered elsewhere already, unfortunately i've encountered this bug whilst being sick with a cold/flu so my frustration towards this has only been amplified and thought it best just to make a bug report myself before attempting an 80th fix only to have to restart my pc again
as vissible from the screenshot (I know original pirate name and save name) i am hosting this locally and without a dedicated server
when I attempt to load in, I only get to the point where the ingame sound and music kicks in before I am frozen in place but my mate is able to join just fine.
According to him when he loads in my character is there and theres every sign that I should be present within the ingame world yet I am stuck on a loading screen
having checked through #🚧│tech-support #1493364524705775657 and other #1493348541177794601 threads im at a bit of a loss as every solution i come across results in the same issue where I have to restart my pc as i cannot even tab out of the loading screen.
on a side note and am unsure if this warrants a separate bug report, taking screenshots using the snipping tool (Shift + Windows + S) also froze my game but remarkably i've got no screenshots to prove this happening (if you can believe that), upon pressing it the first two times the game jittered and the tool failed to open but on the third time it just froze the game in its entirety when trying to take the screenshot used for this original post, in the end i settled for the built in screenshot button that steam has which admiteddly I had forgot existed when I first attempted to use snipping tool
