Whenever I board a ship I've taken over or if it's a mission specific ship, the NPC's just keep respawning and I get overrun as soon I step onto the deck. Am I missing something? Is this a bug? It's keeping me from progressing some things.

did you line up your boat and then presses enter or space to board?
Cause If you board without a boat or without the selected button to board yes they will respawn.
