I try to load the game and it get's stuck in the loading screen. I'm seeing people say delete the cloud save file but I'm seeing others say that even after doing that they aren't able to load the game. What do I do ?

Make sure to check your Character saves , there will be a corrupted one or either a Repair tool needed to fix it
I've fixxed this Myself today by removing created character saves which i didn't have making the game not being able to launch
You can find a Save repair tool on Nexus mods, you can always sent me a dm for help

I was looking at that MOD it says due to modding the game, what if we have not modded the game at all ? screen just stuck in load screen and only way to get to the main menu is to delete all saved and shut off steam

In your case, you will see 5 folders in there
Remove the 85C..... one
make sure on steam Cloud save is still one

Be noticed that today it's a global issue also for servers etc with the game not connecting to the game's files on the devs side. For some people this worked, for others it didn't.
If they still appear, select on steam the cloud save to off. Try then with only your lvl 7 file

If the tool picks data up for 2 profiles , it's fine, if you only see 1 with lvl and data , one of them is affected

Try selected cloud save off & delete the not needed ones
You can disable cloud save on right click the game in steam, properties & then general btw 🙂

Just be carefull. If you put cloud save back on once a update launches, you need to copy the one you used, and overwrite the cloud ones

Normally once you launched with cloud save off & enable it again after you started the game
Steam should say "Cloud Sync conflict"
There you should be able to choose "Upload to steam cloud or Use local files"

The game works with Unreal engine & communicates through it. In order to play, it communicates with the database from the game itself that the devs put it on, if that connection gets interrupted , it can think you don't have a character, therefore creating a new one but corrupted
Which then when you close the game.. You got 2 characters, 1 corrupted, 1 with data (your main one). The game will launch to load both, but can't load the corrupted one, therefore getting stuck
The issue here is that this is the reason games use their servers to store people's data of progression on like Ark, Dune, world of warcraft etc etc, but this game uses our PC's to store them on

Glitch indeed, the devs will need to make a patch fixing this for people especially as they got a multiplayer mode, but that will remove the Offline method of the game

You can try playing it, but there is a chance your 'hosting' server will crash, not that that's an big issue but just saying Solo today is the most stable
Unfortanetly like me having a bought hosting , My server crashes 🙂

- If your game then launches without loading again follow the following

Hey i am having problem to restore my save.
I have only one save, downloaded nexusmod.
Identified save, restored it.
Disconected it from cloud saves.
And the problem keeps coming back after every try to load game.
It started to happening after i joined some multiplayer and then tried to come back to my single player.
I am scared of removing some files as someone said
