Game is taking a while to connect to a dedicated server, once in the game works fine for a bit, but then when starting a sea battle for example all the ships freeze in place, I can look around, but nothing works. I then eventually get kicked to main menu. Seems to be a networking issue? I cannot reconnect to the server as it thinks I am still on it.
I see a lot of people are experiencing similar issues across all hosts even self hosting, but wanted to make a separate thread so you guys can see how many people are having this issue right now.

It was like this before the today update.
It was happening after previous update, which you guys shipped and disappeared 😛

I cannot get my old dedicated server world to load in the server discription after the update today. It keeps creting a new world even after pointing it to the correct world i copied back into the world file
Any tips please.
Bisect have created a tracker to let us know when a fix is in place, apparently they are in touch with you guys as it's not their end apparently
Exactly same issue
lean reinstall of server, all new files.
Launcehd my game in offline mode, my previous, working world.
Game runs fine, I put anohter building element, just in case.
Stopped the game, Zipped the world from rocks DB_v2
Unzipped the world on the server to the rocks DB_v2
Connected to the server.
Server creates new world as it was corrupeted.
it even creates 3 worlds ... the .zip is file from my solo world.
This needs to be sorted out since we had like 50 hours of work in our world

I fixed it with Drake in #1500789536161136702 , the world i loaded, but game is crashing
You guys talk about a different problem then thread owner explains.
plz don't switch subjects, so Drake can notify the devs about this issue.

To get there, open Steam, find Windrose in your library, right-click it, then go to Manage → Browse local files. From there, archive the files in the Logs folder and share them with us.
Please name your logs in a way that describes the problem, for example: Crashedwhile_fighting_Dodo.log

OPs thread started before the update so it might be different. I'm afraid to get the investigation going in the wrong direction. Can I ask you to create a separate thread please and describe the issue you are having and also provide logs.

Yeah, I have updated my Bisect ticket to let them know of the conversations happening here, and that it might be a Bisect issue

im definetly sure its bissect.
We tested it on nitrado and gamehostbros and it works.
But maybe this host will also fail in couple days? (not sure)
Who knows, I guess we can only hope someone from Bisect is reaching out to these guys and figuring it out.

Hi, dont know if this relates to your issue but regarding old worlds not working in the new dedicated server, this fixed it for me.
My fix was copying my dedicated server world into my single player save.
Then load into the world in single player. Place something and exit.
Then copy the world in your single player save folder from both the rocks DB and the backup Rocks DB back into your dedicated server folder and it worked again and didnt loose any progress.
Obviosuly dont rename your old dedicated server world folder.
