It's happened about 6 deaths in a row now: I get the map marker for my body when I die, but when I get there there's no actual body to loot and I lose whatever materials I died with. This doesn't seem to be a map geometry issue as it happens no matter where I die, whether on a beach or in a structure or in the woods or an open field. I died twice to an alpha wolf without looting my corpse and since then I haven't had my corpse show up anywhere I die, anywhere in the world.
