There seems to be a serious lack of realism in some fights. I have a buccaneers mission, destroy 3 ships. Problem is, 20 other ships show up! I didn't even know this was possible. I can take on 4-5-6 ships ok, but 20??? C'mon this has to be some weird bug. I had to flee there is just now way....
the pile behind me is like 10 ships, the ones to the left about 4 but then to the right of me (you can't see) there is another 6... i mean... cmon...

this one happened to me. you are likely on the "destroy 2 patrols" quest step and also in the foothills questline looking for the "unsinkable". am i correct? clear the side quest for the 2 patrols as those 2 quests are causing double and triple spawns. complete that other quest and then the main quest and the spawns should cool off

Come one guys its nothing difficult to deal with if you have a proper ship.Also dont forget to upgrade your canons and the rest of ship equipment. These Quest are meant to be hard because they have a certain level to do plus it will motivate you to invest your resources in to ships as well. 😉

My ship is level 5.. and the quest is level 3. I have to sink 3 ships/get 50 gunpowder. This is ridiculous spawning of enemy. 5 ships or so no problem but when i got 20 (ships from level 2 - 5) all swarming in... that's not only totally unrealistic it's impossible.
