so everytime i try to host a game, after it loads my game jumps back to main menu, in solo works just fine, but i cant join or create any games... only happened after update

same for me. I tried everything and it seems nothing works. Even a new character didn't work. I tried to login with a friends account from my pc and I could join online and funny enough when he logged in with my account he could go online. It makes zero sense to me. And it seems like the devs will take time to fix it since they can't find out why

Yeah definetly won't start all over again. I've put 50h into that character and are up to the third boss with the main mission and almost done all side quests. If they don't fix it within the next week i will refund the game

You knew what you were buying when you got to the store page. Just because you did not comprehend that does not mean you get a refund.
Do you buy a brand new 0 mile car, put 50,000 miles on it then refund it because you did not like it after all? Of course you do not. What makes you think you do that here? ROFL.
Give the devs a chance to iron things out. Not like they have taken the money and ran. Steam Cloud is an issue so disable that. Then just run off the save on your PC. Do not use mods. Pay attention you play with others make certain no one is using mods or if you refuse to play without them everyone has the same mods. All this makes a difference.

Sorry didn't knew the money is coming out from your pocket xD. The game doesn't work anymore doesn't matter if cloud is on or off. The game stopped working. I had that issue once before in a game and got a full refund with 60h gameplay. As long as steam sees it is a problem from an update they will refund. If you don't know you shouldn't stark barking Scooby. Acting like the CEO of Steam 🤣

Except you are one of over a million so they are not going to see it as a problem. Come on back crying when you get told no. Will wait. Oh wait your parents told you were special so suppose that means rules get set aside for you? ROFL. Acting like you are special. I have many games that are failed Early Access and no one got refunds. Just Survive/H1Z1 being the number one contender for Steam Refund considering they canclled the game and took any playable for of the game from people.
Oh and I can log in and play just fine. 4 people on my friends list play just fine. You having issue does not mean game is broken. Sorry for you but give it time all will be better. Or just troll the forums/discord until you are removed.

I am also having this issue. I played fine this morning. Shut it down, was gone a few hours, now it will not load my hosted game. This is unacceptable.

What fixed it for me is restarting my server (I host through Nitrado) and waiting for an update to install^^

Also having this issue. I can load my solo game just fine. I hosted it last night with my wife able to join, but today I cannot launch a hosted session. It either hangs or kicks me back to character screen. Submitted a bug report.

i found the problem
only thing that solved it to me was delete the R5 folder in %appdata% reinstall the game, with a clean copy, and delete the old character and world.... unfortunately it was the only thing that fully fixed it for me

Bumping this. I turned off steam save sync, then reopened the game and hosted a game on SEA instead of EU/NA and it works just fine.
