Problem: Unable to Plant Trees on Farming Soil
Currently, it is not possible to plant trees on farming soil (cultivated soil / prepared ground). Trees can only be placed on natural terrain.
This becomes a problem for bases built in difficult locations, such as cliffs or rocky coastal areas:
In these areas, you can often only place topsoil to create usable ground.
However, trees cannot be planted on this soil, even though it is otherwise usable for farming.
As a result, important resources (e.g., wood) are missing directly within the base.
Specific Example:
My base is built on a cliff where natural terrain is very limited. While I can place soil and grow crops, I cannot plant trees, which significantly limits my base.
Impact:
Restricted base building options
Reduced self-sufficiency for resources
Inconsistent logic (soil allows crops but not trees)
Suggestion / Improvement:
It would be helpful if:
Trees could also be planted on topsoil, or
A dedicated tree planting plot/system could be introduced
“I missed having a leather (animal hide) symbol on signs in the game.”
If you want it a bit more descriptive:
“I really missed having a clear leather (animal hide) symbol on storage signs in the game, as it made it harder to organize resources.”
these are great pitches sir!
can you submit them here please?
where?
