Hi,

So on my dedicated server i host on a windows 11 pc, i tried updating, but i get the following error.

(I use SteamCMD with:
force_install_dir "C:\Game_Servers\Windrose_Server"
login anonymous
app_update 4129620 validate
)

but when i get to the app_update part, i see:

Steam>app_update 4129620 +validate
Update state (0x0) unknown, progress: 0.00 (0 / 0)
Error! App '4129620' state is 0x6 after update job.

And its not updated i think, cause i get client and server mismatch and cant connect to the server.

what can i do?

So, i found out how to fix it my self, i needed to delete the "appmanifest_4129620.acf" file, that was in steamapps of my windrose server (so in my case: C:\game_servers\windrose_server\steamapps\appmanifest_4129620.acf) but also delete it at steamapps (C:\SteamCMD\steamapps\appmanifest_4129620.acf) in my case, so 2 places, in the SteamCMD folder, and the steamapps server of my server it self. After i deleted both files, i could re run the commands (force_install, login anonymous and the app_update). then it was fixed
