Getting stuck on loading screen to main menu

i have tried reinstall
i have tried verify game files
i have removed my save file
Cleared cache

you have to do this

#

first disable cloud save for the game

#

hit windows + r key and type in %appdata%

#

click appdata on the bar right there

#

and look for the folder named local > R5

you should see saved profiles in that folder

copy that folder onto your desktop

that I am not too sure. if you can't load into the server. the server owner has to do some tweaking

if you still cant get into the main menu you have to try a different folder from the back up

try arranging it from highest number to lowest. highest is the latest one. which is probably corrupted somehow

ya you are onto something, I removed my character saves which came down from cloud sync and got right in.. obviously to no characters.

i was able to fix mine, so I had 2 characters and the 2nd one was the one which had me broken.

#

use the tool to see which one was the larger one.. by forcing a repair, which the tool makes a backup, so I can figure out the character code correctly.

then disabled cloud, cause I didn't want the other character to get downloaded.

it was tricky, only cause when I turned on clousd sync, steam still tried to put it back.. so kept the folder open, and as soon as I saw steam try to put it, I deleted it right away.

the nice thing, the tool shows you the folder as a nice trick

Also it helped that that old character was one I deleted a while ago.

ya i don't think you will get in, if it successfully syncs.. not a bad thing but hopefully the tool shows your accounts and which one might be bad

It looks like the saves are being duplicated with a different code, which is then causing the save files to be corrupt. Might be worth checking, my friend just fixed it by removing the dupe save

@here Check the 0.10 folder, then intio players folder, within it, if you have one character you'll probably have two folders. one will have many files within it, the other just a few. Delete the one with few files and you should be able to launch the game
