Hello, were having problems with unlocking discoveries. Is there a fix for it
We cleared foothills and coastal jungle but the issue started when we got to the swamp. We tried changing host and world but no matter how many times we kill and pick up items it won't unlock the discoveries.

well just a warning now idk if this is the actual issue just a guess so characters rn are having an issue so let me explain. I have a level 11 character using that character make me not even load into the world like i get stuck on the loading screen but, if i make a new one it works no problem so basically what im saying is this may add up to this issue youre having right now where it is probably not saving there is def a sync issue right now it only affects your character so far i do not think itll affect your world
just something i thought about so if you find a discovery put it in a chest or something and when they fix it hop on and grab it and hopefully it works

Has he made anything with the resources or only picked them up? If you picked up something, but can make the recipe, you have discovered if, though that's weird it's not unlocking the discovery visual.

No the unlocks he needed to build such as material rack and supplies rack which I already unlocked is not showing up. So basically his character is bricked
We tried everything we can atm.
basically any buildings that need building after foothills can only be built by me

I had the same issue , made a new character and pushed through the main quest to test and got the discoveries with a new character.

Okay I just found a possible fix for this. It is a program a developer (not one associated with the Windrose team) on Nexus that made a program that scans your save for the thing corrupting the discoveries/progression and fixes it for you. I just tried it myself and it worked perfectly. Its called WSE Project - Save Fixer. I am not saying it will 100% work for you but this was the first thing that actually fixed my problem.
