The Unsinkable boat is unboardable#

So I destroyed the boat, and tried to board, but it escaped and got stuck in this narrow straight, now I cannot board or do anything with it!

Try moving away for a bit or reloading the game. It should respawn after some time. Otherwise you can make a new game and finish the mission on a new game/different server then go back to your game.
