Its probably thinking might be an AMD issue since I am in Nvidia while he is on AMD gpu
My gpu is rtx 4070 while his gpu is rx 6800xt

hello again, apparently my brother @upper salmon has done all of this but still received black screen even downgrading his drivers didn't manage to get past menu just black screen
do you other suggestions rather than waiting for a major patch?

i did the save thing, and im already at the part of a new character creation
and after a few seconds, still doing the black screen
it disconnects my monitor to my PC, although i can still hear in my discord
i also did a DDU and re-installation of my gpu driver
next was, i did the backup of steam cloud troubleshooting, and the game started fine - and just went inside the game to delete my old server (although this is fine for me, i can create a new one)
exited the game, and steam cloud replaced
and then fingers crossed, i started the game again, got in the menu, and then just went black screen again
am gonna have to try one last before i stop
ddu, and re-install the new driver while i still have the backup save, since the new character creation TS did not work
disable. replace, andenable cloud - the game will be fine for a few minutes, and then disable the cloud before i exit the game - in that way, the cloud wont save my progress

Try to put shaders off, reduce graphic settings to minimum, turn off frame generation

@sharp forge i managed to open the game and lower the settings immediately
it was so nervous wrecking 🫠
idk what happened, but i just reinstalled the AMD GPU driver multiple times
and almost about to update my bios
before i updated my bios (which i didnt yet), the game suddenly worked
and i took your advice to lower the settings really quick
this is really fine since we managed to love the game 😅 even thogh it's on early access (well, we played the ac black flag, and it was very awesome)
900p on 1440p 🫠 , never thought id be going back to that time again xD, but still hoping for a fix for this
and also fingers cross, we'll check and see if i can manage to play longer when joining my brother's server

having the same problem here already did everything yet the game still crash the graphic driver and no it is not normal since its the only game to do it all my other game are working fine with my amd setup so it has to do with something in their last update/hotfix they did this week

since we use upscaling
but now low settings then back to 900p

pc spec: amd ryzen 7 5800x3d , radeon sapphire 6800xt, 64gb trident z g skills and almost 10 tb of m.2/hard drive . windows and related componant installed on 1 distinct m.2 and all game on another m.2 everything else is on other hard drive
