i'm trying to launch the game, i hear all of the seagulls and background noise when i see the Loading... screen but it never gets to the main menu. i've waited minutes on end for this to actually load. i was JUST playing this morning as well, and now i can't even load the game.
that's not including all of the fatal error crashes i've been having with this as well. though, maybe the last fatal error did somehow manage to cause this?

so, deleted my savegames and savecharacter and it loaded fine, but after adding back my characters in my save folder it won't load... so now my character profile data is completely corrupt
yay...

tried following the FAQ and restoring "backups" but it did absolutely nothing
