I've noticed that after the April 17 hotfix, wildlife now spawn within a bonfire radius. I didn't see anything about this being a directed change, so I'm presuming it is a bug. I haven't noticed undead spawning in and I haven't tried it on pirate locations yet.

I know they can still wander into the bonfire range, especially if they have a spawn area close enough to the edge.
