#Multiplayer: cant join others & ingame issues

Today i cant join the co-op server i play with a friend. the server started by him and worked fine till today. Today i started the game as usual and cant join the server anymore.
When trying direct by steam i get an infinite loading screen and can only close game by task manager. We also tried join by direct IP. This ends up in fall back to main menu without error message.

Next.. I can start the game in single and multiplayer. My Mate can join me but then i get desync as *** the loot by ship wreaks are empty/unlootable, swap items between inventory/chests work only after close and reopen inventory.
In singleplayer this doesnt happen.. I checked the FAQ & Troubleshooting for 2 hours now and tried almost everything.. i also deleted saves, tried backups..

note: we changed world save file yesterday cause sleep time, but that worked fine and works in singleplayer as discribed.

help..

update: if i try to go back to the menu from self hosted game. i have an infinite loading screen that ends by task manager..

oh and in multiplayer the ship crew is naked and the hip doesnt exist. u can see through..

We tested a few things yesterday. To do this, both I and a friend each loaded a new map. I still couldn’t join him, not even with a new character. He was able to join my map without any problems, but this always had an impact on the world. As soon as he joined, I experienced visual glitches with the ship’s crew; furthermore, enemy fleets were displayed on the map as white blocks and were also shown in the world as neutral (‘white ships’), without names or ranks. The lag in the inventory also occurred when he joined. I can currently only close the game in multiplayer via the Task Manager, as I get an endless loading screen even when returning to the menu.

The issue with the world didn’t occur yesterday when my friend created a new character. The loading screens were still like that, though.

Ah, and the contents of the loot from destroyed ships became invisible when my friend joined the game. The loot was floating in the ocean, but when opened, it appeared empty.

The bugs persisted even after he had left the game. On the xth attempt, the world save file became corrupted.
