Like the title says, you kill an undead and it respawns within a few seconds making it impossible to finish the mission. That is only on the ships with white healthbars

Are you referring to the quest on land or on a ship. If its the ship quest, there are many enemies on the ship and you cannot traditionally board the ship(with your crew). It is quite challenging and I recommend that you gear up to level 10+ if you are solo.

I managed it by just running down as fast as possible grab it then when you die, go back and retrieve your save point

Yeah thats how I did it too

There is a few quests that you can just ignore the enemies and grab the objectives, but that quest specifically is one of the hardest ones

yeahh i ran down there too and just snatched the stuff, one time it got stuck on the chatting menu and i couldnt get out of it so i died, but i was referring to the ones on a ship that has a healthbar
