#Auto-sorting crashes server

"Is this auto-sort feature part of the base game (vanilla), or is it provided by a mod?"
The base game mechanic.
Did u had mod for bigger stacks before and deleted/uinstalled it?
It’s not my server but someone else’s. It did seem like the stacks got smaller, so the server owner might have had it on and deleted it. Is it possible that I need to make all the stacks become base game limits first?
yeah, if there are bigger stacks then vanilia can handle and u dont have mod on, then sort feature will crash server
I think if u will split those stacks into vanilia limits it should not crash that container or atleast u can give it a try
I didn't consider that there were mods on when I started playing on this server, thank you for the help!
I am having the same issue with our dedicated server, based off the crash logs, increasing the stack size on the server screwed up everybodies character. So, it was reverted back to original stacks by the devs I believe, which then causes a server crash due to everybody having double stacks on their character. I sorted myself out by dumping everything on me, including gear and weapons, then logging out and logging back in. my character seems ok now, but if I try to sort a box, it immediately crashes the server because the stack sizes do not match.
Game is way to early to be messing with mods imo. Still trying to figure out core game issues.
Just FYI

bla bla bla
my question is, why do u even disabled that mod in first place instead of keeping it still?
Just merely pointing out that they've stated the wont support issues related to mods is all. Doesn't mean the community won't.
