I have 3060 and running the game at lowest setting possible but still stuttering during combat. I did everything in the FAQ & Troubleshooting thread but still no fix yet. Other building games like satisfactory is running smooth for me at more than 60fps++. I can't even get a stable 30fps in this game. Please help.

tried reinstalling, verifying files, youtube videos, tweaking each of the settings, windows update, rebooting, & graphic driver update but no luck.

Been playing 55 hours of stuttering.

When does stuttering started?

# frail fog It’s been like that since the start 😢

I also have 3060 and graphic settings game is set on high with dlss framegen fsr x2 active, can fell stuttering when there are many enimies ship, like above 4. And my CPU usage is always 100%, it is the first time that I play a game that use 100% of my CPU.

I'm having the exact same problems... Also with a 3060, hope it will get fixed soon

Are you using DLSS by any chance? I was curious why my FPS kept dropping below 60 sometimes with a 4070Ti Super. First thing I did was turning off Frame Generation. That gave me around 10fps more. When I turned off DLSS, I gained another 15. The game actually runs much worse for me with DLSS, no matter what quality preset.

Edit: then my friend tried the same thing (4070Ti) and had the same results. So it wasn't just a "me-problem".

I did some test and without DLSS my FPS drop below 60... and the CPU consume is high for sure. The best way that I found to play this game smooth with stuttering only when I fight is with DLSS plus FSR x2 framegen

# fickle current But didn’t they will keep your fps at 60? Because when I don’t have the dlss on ...

In my specific case and where I was standing, I had ~45fps with FrameGen turned on and 55-60 with it being turned off.
DLSS, for me, seems to be dependend on my surroundings. Sometimes I gain FPS by turning it off and sometimes there is absolutely no difference between on, off or what quality/performance mode I use.
This is something I only encounter with Windrose. In every other game, DLSS does exactly what it is supposed to.

To add to that. Performance gets also much worse per connected player when I host. I can stay at 120fps on sea when playing alone and when boarding. But if my two friends are connected, I drop down to 30 when boarding, which makes fights uneccessary difficult.
