In the main quest "Needle in a Haystack" "Board the unsinkable" the unsinkable has been disabled in a rocky cove where i cannot get beside it to activate the boarding action. If i board it without being beside it and doing said action the enemies just keep spawning and im not able to complete the mission as im stuck in this weird situation where the quest cant be "reset".

Same basic situation here. If you die during the boarding action and return to the ship, the quest can't be completed apparently.

im in the same boat lol mines up the creek and forty feet in the air so it doesnt even take damage

Two options, do it in someone else map or... cant recall is that ship able to be sunk, if so it will reset/respawn and you should be able to do it.
