Inconsistent enemies hyper armor

Sometimes your attacks stagger enemies, but the other times they just shrug it off and finish their attack animation which is awful because you can't tell when they are going to be staggered. The issue becomes worse at the swamp as crocodiles (not the plagued one) have the more hyper armor than not which you can't tell.
