On the first Hills Island there is a pirate camp right next to a grove of divi-divi tress which I definitely wanted to cull. First I killed all the pirates, then I culled the divi-divis, then I went thru the pirate camp to pick up the obligatory gunpowder, when I discoverd a huge barrel that I could pick up.
I could only walk slowly with it, but it looked like it were filled with gunpowder, which would be a boon. I walked all the way down to the beach with the barrel in arms and called my ketch, but when I wanted to swim out to the ketch, I automatically dropped the barrel, and had troubles trying to pick it up again, becasue it was now underwater.
So now I called my boat/dingy and brought it as close to shore's edge as I could. I picked up the barrel again--unfortunately I didn't make any screenshots of me carrying the barrel--, thinking ahead a little, I tried to find out how to drop the barrel. It wasn't pssible. The only way to get rid of the barrel, other than going into water where I have to swim, is if I applied a bandage. Then I dropped the barrel while applying the bandage. Great! It's a waste of a bandage, but for a barrel full of GP--worth i1!
So I climb into the boat, which is right at the edge of the water, turn around and pick up the barrel, and turn around... I can't take control of the boat. So I thought, drop the barrel and then take control of the boat. So I'm facing the front with room for the barrel, apply a bandage, and VOOM!! Me and the boat are shot thousands of feet in to the air--no exaggeration--and sent in a huge arch across the map gane Westen.
I could see that I was heading for the edge of the map, so I <exc> out and hit the "Stuck" button, and was of course immediately killed and landed at my base in front of my bed, but all of the stuff I had gathered was of course in the grave markers.
