Hull versions not received after purchase

My friend and I bought some hull options, I bought the Stock hull colors and he got the Brethren ones, but we can't apply or see the option to apply them.

you can't get that far into having gold and not know the basic

FYI Stock hull colors are really for Stock hulls and no other, Brethren colors for brethren hulls, etc.

The devs locked colors per faction hull type.

Thank you so much for this. It answers my issue which was the same. I bought the Brethren colors but my first ship was a stock (which I didn't realize) and the second was the Blackbeard varient. I could not understand why my sister had the hull colors and I didn't. But I am betting this is why.
