I really love the nature aesthetic of Foothills, so I wanted a base that would celebrate the natural parts, as well as look at feel like a Fort Town. While scouting around, I found this idyllic island circled by foothills, and immediately got to work.

Figuring out the layout of the battlements took a while, since the area I built in is basically all mountain cliffs. Once that got sorted, the buildings went up pretty quickly. Not sure how many hours tbh, I didn't keep track, but only couple play sessions maybe. I kept running out of wood and clay.
