When i go to host or join i get in to a endless load screen that then kicks me to the main menu with only the quit button showing.

I want to play multiplayer but cant want help before i move away to a different game

Thanks for the report! Does it work, if you try to play solo-offline with the same character?

Seems to be connectivity issue. Please check options from our FAQ - https://playwindrose.com/faq/
If you've tried Firewall/Antivirus disable/IPv6/DNS/port forwarding and nothing helps - try using cloudflare warp https://one.one.one.one/, a lot of players reported it helped them, so you may try that out.
Some ISP like Bezeq International Ltd, Ziggo, telnet, Xfinity, Spectrum, are blocking our servers, so disabling advanced security features provided by them might be good idea as well

If it still doesn't help, you can try Direct IP option in the menu. But it might require further setup, depending on your home network (NAT/port forwarding).
