So I can see my server on the server list but when I join it 30 seconds later it loads me back to the menu

hello!

Can you answer a few questions for me please?

is it a self hosted dedicated server?
have you tried connecting via direct IP?
have you tried creating a host game from client and see if you can do it?
if you can, have you tried playing with some one via the host from game licent?

Yes I am the host of the server which I pay for on GPortal. I havent tried connecting through IP so I can try that now

(you need to change server settings for that) also I don't know if G Portal allows this

Yes GPortal allows you to connect through IP but didnt work

i think it's not available by default, you need to do a switch of some sort in the server settings... it's either \ or.

Yeah I clicked the switch then reset the server and tried joining but didn't work. Not sure what else to do
