Dying over water while boarding a ship will send the death lantern to Davy jones locker

i died over water while boarding and the post-mortem lantern icon is still on the map (all 5 of them) but i cant reclaim my lost loot

Thanks for the report. Markers are created even if you didn't have any loot and there were no container spawned.

Did you attempt to remove them by right-clicking on them ?

From my experiences of dying while boarding, i've noticed my lantern will sometimes end up on an island nearby like it instantly drifted over. Might consider that as a possibility

im on the tortuga spot where i had drowned and the marker is over the water but no lantern so im not sure
