Description:
We have noticed an issue on the Windrose server where dropped loot appears to remain on the ground indefinitely instead of disappearing after some time.

This may lead to a continuous accumulation of world items and could potentially create unnecessary server load or negatively affect server performance over time.

Observed behavior:

dropped loot stays on the ground for days;
items do not appear to despawn automatically;
the amount of ground loot keeps accumulating over time.

Expected behavior:

loot left on the ground for a long period should despawn automatically after a certain time;
or
administrators should have access to a console command / server command that clears old loot from the ground.

Question:
Is there any built-in console command or server-side setting in Windrose that allows us to:

clear loot that has been lying on the ground for a long time;
enable automatic cleanup of dropped items;
configure a despawn timer for ground loot?

Ahoy, no there are no commands for that. We will look into it. However, the loot outside of the bonfire range should despawn after some time. Cheers!

Can confirm it does not here either. There are loot items on the ground still at our original island.

I can confirm this issue on my side as well.

I am still finding loot that I personally dropped from enemies two days ago, such as gunpowder or insignias. These locations are dozens of kilometers away from the main campfire/base fire, so this is clearly not limited to the bonfire area.

Moreover, even restarting the server does not solve the issue. The dropped loot appears to be stored somewhere inside the world save / seed data and keeps persisting after restart.

At this point, it does not seem like ground loot is despawning properly at all, even outside the campfire range.
