Game really laggy when on day one it was completely fine on higher settings

my game is really laggy use to play on 1440p but had a lot of issues so had to switch to 1080p but I still have a lot of lag spikes and idk why my pc should be able to handle a lot but this game make it shi itself half the time I have a 5070ti 32gb of ram and a ryzen 7 5700x3d any idea on how to make the game more playable

I have set the fps limit to 60 but still laggy

Same here frequent fps drops i have geforce 3060, other similar games usually smooth but this game makes it unplayable. My settings are on low, fps limited to 40fps but still laggy

this should not be happening, you've got a powerful machine it shuld run smooth. I can suggest ot do the basics - tyr rebooting your pc, updating your drivers

What fixed mine was play on borderless windowed I use to play full screen but use to lag but I changed it and was running perfectly then

I always played borderless windowed, tried almost everything like reinstalling, updating driver, updating windows and any other tips i see on YT but still has fps drop during combat on land. The sea combat is worse almost unplayable
