So i was able to play on my own offline world for 3-4 days without any issues whatsoever which i found pretty impressive because im in need of a pc upgrade. Then all of a sudden after the most recent patch my game got very choppy and stuttery and i just thought i had hit a wall hardware wise BUT when i left my own world and joined a friend online again my game would run perfectly fine. This makes me think its not just my pc. Adding to that, its not the visuals that are affected. The game runs fine besides a few framedrops, the real problem is the audio gets so messed up maybe .2 of every second actually plays, making it a big stuttery mess and when im out at sea the game is basically on mute. Worst part is i cant hear the shantys at all anymore 😓
