there are not reports regarding high ping from my knowledge right now.

please tell me what is your set up? how do you play? where are you and your freinds who are playing with you from?

yes we both have strong pc set ups good gpus. we use the standard p2p method not direct ip. me and my friend are only a state away 5 hour drive

most of my players have <100 ping

its only windrose and there seems to be quite a lot of people having this issue

so i want to know if its being addressed

can you please try someone else from your group create a server and other to ocnnect to it and see if the ping is still as high?

sorry if I misunderstood you, but I assume you staed that your ping is 200+, ping is only possible when you are playiong with your friends in coop. if you are playing in offline mode there is no ping.

We have 4 players running and ping is between 50-80 for each

can your friend try to host the game, you join to him and just see if the ping is the same for you as it was for him?

i understand that's a hustle but it would help us to investigate this further

same with me sir, i have standart setup, all from indonesia

facing same issue with my friend, we use host a game method from in game menu, whoever is the host gets 20ms but those who join gets 200-300ms ping

me and my friend both tried hosting/reset router/steam dedicated host cmd but nothing works, we tried change server region to eu/na, sea, cis. we both play other survival game with 20-40ms cz we both live in same country

P.S. we both live in sea region, reading the thread i see laniakea is from same region, so the problem could be in sea region side

yea we tried that its always the same. host gets 30 ping and other player gets 200 and around 500 when it spikes

an ethernet cable really helped me out but still isn’t as good as 30 ping so definitely something on the game side but if you can use an ethernet cable i would recommend it as ot helps a lot in the mean time

If switching from wireless to wired made a substiantial difference, odds are it's your connection

My friends and I have all hosted each other and nobody gets over 90 ping with a few thousand miles between us.

I have the same issue and so does my bf, (before the patch update) if he joined my server his ping would go up. A couple of hours playing together my ping would start going up. And both of our pings would definitely be high if we went to Tortuga, or get into combat- ship and enemies! But solo the ping stays between 15-50, sometimes! Tortuga is horrible solo or with a friend.

Same issue with my GF, we're both from Malaysia, for the time being resolved by changing who hosts.

if i joined her server, i will have 200 ping and she will have 20

still not sure why this happens yet

udah maen dari update ke 10.4 kak..cuma berhenti main lagi karna stuck loading screen pas maen besoknya, udah coba fix tapi malah gabisa backup savedatanya kak
