My Friends servers are all unavailable

So we just wanted to play and all his servers are unavailable and wont come back.
Whats the fix?

Possible issues:

Something just went wrong within network set up

It is quite common that something could go wrong just because your machine or your router worked without rebooting for a long time. Turning it off and on again sometimes can do magic… no one in the world know why... but before trying other things, try doing the basics:

Reboot your PC

Shut down Steam and relog
Reboot your router
Check the game's file integrity

Block by your ISP

We are seeing that quite a few ISPs are blocking access to our backend service that help player to connect. We do not understand why this happens yet, but we are trying to reach out to them and try t address this. A few has already replied and unblocked us allowing players to play normally, however this process could take time.

If your ISP has any sort of app or a website where you can turn off additional security settings - try doing this, it could help!
If you know a place where your ISP shows a list of blocked sites - try looking for something that has windrose.support in it - this is us! Please unblock!
Try connecting via different connection services (even if you are from NA, if you can not connect with your friends, try selecting Asia or CIS and see if it works for you)
We cannot recommend to install any third party software, but quite a few people reported that using apps like https://one.one.one.one/ or similar to this one could help to bypass this block until it is lifted by ISPs
You network settings priorities IPv6 over IPv4

The game is currently architected to use IPv4, so if your IPv6 priority is much higher there could be connection issues. Disabling IPv6, or increasing IPv4 priority could sole that issue.

You are playing from the same network

We currently have an issue with PC's connecting to each other from the same network could not connect ot each other via invite code. We are working on finding a solution to allow regular connection for this setup. However we have recently released an update that allows connection via IP. Connecting via direct IP should allow playing from the same network without any issues.

Please note: If you want other players to connect to you via direct IP, you need to set up your router accordingly.

I don't know sir, if connection services are showing as not available your friend can not ping those services, meaning they are not available for some reason.

Can we hop in a call maybe and try to fix it for him, we have been trying to play for the last hour and it doesnt work

I would try to do the basics, they are super simple:

He already restarted router, steam, checked the games integrity files and rebooted pc

Having the same issue here, Yesterday everything worked fine, now (dedicated) servers are unreachable. Lot of tickets opening right now as well with the same issue just another description

yeah its really bad and Direct IP doesnt work

I'm sure they are working on it right now. Just takes some time to cross check it all and push out a hotfix. Hope I can play later Today.

@blazing otter you can try to force close steam, restart steam and try to connect again. This forces the server to check for any updates or fixes. For me it worked and I'm now in game

Then it's up to the devs, My problem with dedicated is solved with restarting and force closing. But with local if anything is of at your friends side, you won't be able to connect

Coudl you please tell me the name of your internet provider? our back end services that help players to connect are being blocked by IPS. we are trying to reach out to them and ask to remove us from their black list

Enter
in the appeared window, tyype in:
ipconfig /all

and send me screenshots in DM of the output that you recieve.

Sorry for the trouble bu it woudl help us to identify better the issues that you are having and whey you were affected with this
