Save state question

When the game went from a demo to early access, all us swashbucklers lost our save states and worlds (probably for the best since mine at that point was barren due to over mining wood)

When the game moves from early access to full release. Will this deletion happen again? Or will we be able to settle into our worlds without fear of blackbeards smoke covering our world?

It is hard to tell sir, it will take us at least 1.5 years to get to 1.0 sir, may be more. I can not say for sure that we will be able to support saves during the switch to 1.0 really depends on hom much the game would evelove. We will try our best to keep saves working during early access though
