first time I've seen this in the game it's on a very small island with nothing much more than a copper mine

This might be related. I flattened ground and this left these plants floating. I can't hit them, reflatten, raise the ground to cover up/flatten and dig back to previous height to remove it... nothing is working (did try restarting too)
