My friend is crashing while we are trying to play coop on a dedicatred server. He was crashing yesterday and decided to reformat his PC and reinstall all drivers fresh however it is still continuing to crash. He isn't crashing in other games and is getting high scores when testing his rig in benchmark software.

I have included 3 crash logs that occurred within 20 minutes.
We have tried a bunch of different things and nothing has resolved the issue:
* Run game as admin
* Run steam as admin
* Add TdrDelay of 10 to registry editor
* Ensure no tuning or overlay programs are active (MSI Afterburner/Rivatuner/etc)
* Reformated PC entirely with fresh new Windows 11 and drivers
* Changed graphics settings
* Underclocked GPU by -100mhz
* Limited GPU power to 90%.
It's frustrating for him crashing so often, I would appreciate any tips if there are any.

Does this happen only when he's trying to play on a certain dedicated server? Is it self-hosted or a rented server?
Does the issue persist in solo-offline worlds or when he hosts a coop game?
Does the issue persist if he tries to connect with a fresh character?
Have you or your friend used ANY mods or mod managers at any point (server or client, doesn't matter)?
Also can you provide your friend client logs and server log?

We have only played on a dedicated rented server from the one recommended Indifferent Broccoli. Neither of us have tried solo play, I told him to try it and see if he crashes. No mods of any kind.

thanks, that seems fine. We had cases of severe technical issues when people played on rented servers from providers that we aren't officially partnered with, because they were using heavily modded servers, that provided settings like XP modifiers, stack size increase, loot modifiers, etc.
And as far as I know, we aren't officially working with Indifferent Broccoli, so it was worth double checking.

So far in single player he has not crashed after about 30 mins. He has gone that long not crashing on the dedicated as well but often times it has been shorter. We will do a longer test tomorrow as its getting late and I'll provide feedback.

This Reddit post is where I got the info about the server. I thought this was posted by official people from the company but it was the hosting company that posted it. I misread and thought it was official. 🙁
I see. We aren't restricting your choice in any way, you've bought the game and can play it however you prefer. Its just we might not be able to help you if you face some kind of specific server related issues.

yeah, I also think its unrelated to the server or server provider. We'll check the logs when we can and will try to pinpoint the reason.
Can your friend roll back his driver to AMD Adrenalin 26.1.1 WHQL? We have a lot of reports about fresh 26.3.1 causing crashes and performance issues in some cases.
He just did a DDU and cleaned out his driver. Installed 26.1.1 as a driver only without any additional software. We're giving it a shot now.
