#Recent FPS drop skyrocketing with recent update

A warm greetings! Since the release of Windrose, I have been able to play solo and with my friends at beautiful framerates on high graphics, but in this recent update, something drastically changed that, as I now have frame drops in single player from around 100 to 20, even 30, but it is far, far more prominent in Multiplayer, where, if not frame drops, full on freeze-frames that can last anywhere from ten seconds to two minutes, with constant slow framerates following after. I have tried running only Windrose and Steam, and I get the same result. I have reason to believe something in the recent updates has caused this issue, and I am wondering if there has been any discovered workaround to get my frames back, or if we will need to wait until it is addressed before we can get back to playing properly?

If this post is expanded on, I will provide anything I can.

-Best wishes! Commander Barnaby of the Red Order Knights

Frame per maybe took me out. What a clip. It's basically this bad when boarding ships as well, and mostly anything water combat related.

dumb question but gotta ask anyways if u haven't tried.

Shader quality and effects to low and any of the DLSS/FSR/TSR that u use and set the Upscaler to performance or ultra performance dident look that bad but i only saw it in main menu lol.

Disable Vsync if u have G-sync or FreeSync monitor to reduce input lag.

Try without frame gen as that stuff tanks on the system latency or game idk one of the all latency, if u have like 3x or 4x on the gen i only tried 4x and it spiked for me.

If u have nvidia take shader cache to 100gb to reduce stuttering caused by u5.

Yes i read from google but some of it i knew the vsync and the input lag i did not know lol.

Fix one thing, break another. The endless cycle of debugging.
